how do I make them? :

The ointments and lotions that I make does not contain rests from the oil industry. Only pure natural products. All my products are paraben free, as preservatives I'm using vitamin E this is far better for our skin. You will come to know the smell of ointments and the smell coming from clean essential Oils. To reduce the risk of sensitization or allergies the ointment should be applicable to the inside of you elbow. You will never find any perfume in my products.

Never the less, it may happen that some allergic reactions could come, this is something I unfortunately can not prevent. But to you who have known nut allergy tell me if you want to try packages, etc., or ordering goods, because they are oil-based lotion made with almond oil. If you need something I do not have here please contact us and together we can find out if there is anything I can help with, I have many more recipes that I've tried out, but as a start there will be a small selection to begin with.

Everything I make is subject to strict guidelines from the Food and administration regulations.  Everything I use are of course sterilized before use. I do not have an organization number in Brønnøysundregisteret as this is just a hobby for me so I am not liable to pay taxes from it yet, in case any of you were wondering about this.

Calendula ointment:

A universal ointment that can be used for the most part.

Both calendula and lavender oil are the active ingredients in this ointment, has anti-inflammatory and wound-healing effect.
It is recommended for use on:

  • Burn
  • Blisters
  • infected fingers
  • Sore kids buns
  • Light eczema.
  • Insect bites

Carrot Lotion:

This is used as an ordinary skin lotion but has a great advantage in problem skin such as psoriasis, eczema and other simple skin problems.
The oils used in this are very fine fatty acids that keep skin fresh and healthy. They assist in the formation of new cells in the skin and the formation of free radicals and binds toxins. The vitamins used in this protects and repairs damaged cells and stimulates blood circulation, they also help to repair damage to the skin.

Eczema Lotion:

This has slightly different composition than carrot lotion, it has not the same oils but some softening fats, also the vitamins used then especially vitamin A and E together with calendula will produce a different type than the carrot lotion.

Rich hand and foot cream:

This is a rich cream that will move quickly into the skin and does not leave an oily film, making your hands slippery long after.
The active ingredients in this are vitamin E and peppermint oil. The oil may smell a bit strong at first but the smell disappears fairly quickly.
This lotion is very nice if you are having problems with extremely dry skin, or skin that cracks either on the feet or hands. Do you work with many detergents, it is a great protection for your hands and keep your skin young and smooth.

Vitamin Lotion:

A moisturizing cream with vitamin E vitamin that prevents wrinkles, stimulate blood circulation, protects skin cells and repair damaged cells.
In other words a fine cream for face and hands. but can also be used over the entire body.

Muscle Ointment:

This ointment using the good properties of lavender oil, rosemary oil and eucalyptus oil as agents of evil sore muscles.

Hemorrhoid ointment / Varicose ointment:

Also this ointment use properties of the essential Oils.  It causes blood vessels to contract so that varicose veins and hemorrhoids shrink and become as good as gone. It is an oily ointment then also lubricates well in anus with regard to hemorrhoids.
Again, I use lavender oil and geranium oil also.

Baby ointment:

Based on lanolin instead of vaseline. Lanolin neutralizes ammonia. Lubricate the skin clean to prevent ammonia etches skin red and sore . The ointment softens the skin and protects it.
I would recommend that you use at every diaper change. If the baby's bum still get a little bit red or sore, considering that antibiotics and vaccines can cause severe bowel movmenst I recommend that a calendula ointment are used until the skin heals again. When the skin are back to normal, go back to use lanolin based ointment again.
